Duties
The Cable & Telecommunications Commission regulates the use of the Village's right-of-way by telecommunications service providers. Members negotiate lease contracts for the communication towers (Police Station Monopole, Water Tower at Brickyards, Reservoir 29A- Lake Cook Road and Pfingston). Oversees the compliance of Village's cable TV system, including operation of cable Channel 10 broadcasts of Village Board Meetings in accordance with agreements. Act as a liaison between Village and residents in the instances of escalated customer complaints.
