Senior Transit
There are a variety of transportation options for Deerfield seniors provided by local government agencies in the Village.
Taxi Subsidy Program
The Village’s Taxi Subsidy Program is open to Deerfield residents aged 65 and older and/or to those with documented disabilities. Registered participants are provided with up to 50 one-way coupons each month. When a coupon is provided, in-town trips cost the rider only $1. For out of town trips beginning or ending in Deerfield, presenting a coupon will take $5 off of the metered fare. Trips to/from the airport are no longer covered by the Taxi Subsidy Program. Please click HERE for more details or view our FAQs below.
The Village works with American Taxi and 303 Taxi.
If you have questions, need more tickets, or to register, please contact Valery McAvoy at 847.945.5000.
