Department Overview
The Public Works Department has a great breadth of responsibility and is charged with providing many of the basic services that affect the daily lives of the public. Primarily, the responsibilities encompass the administration, planning, maintenance, and construction of the Village’s infrastructure.
The Village infrastructure includes the transportation system, stormwater collection system, water supply and distribution systems, and sanitary sewer treatment and collection. Our goal is to provide efficient and reliable infrastructure essential to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public and to enhance the quality of life for residents, businesses, and visitors. We endeavor to accomplish these tasks efficiently and with a high level of customer service.
Public Works
The responsibilities of the Public Works Department include maintenance and repair of the Village infrastructure, property and equipment.
