There are reports of increased crime and unrest spreading into the suburbs. We have increased staffing within the Police Department and patrol officers are on alert. The Village is coordinating with area law enforcement agencies. No protests have been seen within the Village.
The T-Mobile store in town was robbed today at approximately 4 p.m. Police notified neighboring businesses, which immediately closed to the public. Businesses and residents are advised to call 911 if they see suspicious activity. Your safety is our priority.
