PAST WEEK ACCOMPLISHMENTS: The underground contractor completed installation of the storm sewer mainline replacement along Berkley Court, replaced water services at properties with lead lines within the Village right-of-way, and installed 4 new fire hydrants on Berkley Court and Linden Avenue.
ACTIVE LOCATION SUMMARY:
Berkley Court & Linden Ave: Looking ahead, the contractor anticipates completing the remaining underground work on Berkley Court early next week before transitioning operations to Broadmoor Place within the next 2 weeks. This transition will allow the paving contractor to begin pavement removal on Berkley Court, which is currently scheduled to start on Wednesday, April 22. Impacted residents were notified of the upcoming pavement removal activities on Friday, April 17.
WASTE COLLECTION UPDATE: In preparation for ongoing and upcoming construction activities, the Village has coordinated with LRS to implement early morning trash collection beginning at 6:30 AM starting the week of April 21 for the following areas: Berkley Court/Linden Avenue loop, Oakley Avenue, Broadmoor Place, and the western block of Somerset Avenue. Residents in these areas were notified of this temporary change on Friday, April 17.
