Berkeley Ct (Stratford to Linden Loop):
Paving begins today (Monday, June 1) at 7:30 a.m. on Berkley Court. This will result in minimal access for motor vehicles as the road will be closed as the paving operation moves along We are paving full width, which will limit access to the entire width of the roadway until compaction is performed. Paving will begin at the location identified on the map provided below using the red "X". Once compacted, the road will open as the paving operation proceeds around the bend and onto Berkley Court, paving east towards Stratford. Impacted residents were notified using physical notice last Thursday.
Roadway paving will result in a temporary closure of the roadway. Access shall always be provided for emergency vehicles when required. Once the asphalt has reached the required compaction and has had time to cool, traffic will be permitted back on the roadway. Today, traffic will be allowed on the new pavement within 45-60 minutes after placement.
Broadmoor Pl (Hazel to Greenwood) & Somerset Ave (Cherry to Broadmoor):
Prep for Phase 2 of concrete ribbon curb installation is scheduled for today along the east side of Broadmoor Place and the north side of Somerset Avenue. This work will limit driveway access for some residents beginning on Tuesday. Impacted residents were notified last Friday.
Oakley Ave (Hazel to Greenwood):
Underground utility work is completed. Concrete sidewalk repairs are scheduled to begin later this week or next week. Residents will be notified before impacts.
