This week, the contractor’s underground crew advanced the installation of the new storm sewer and water main within the remaining unpaved roadway segment between Chestnut Street and Wayne Avenue. This represents the final phase of underground work for the project and is scheduled to continue into next week. Pavement excavation in the remaining work zone is planned to commence by midweek next week.
Additionally, the contractor performed site cleanup and preparatory work to ensure the area is ready and safe for the anticipated influx of Trick-or-Treaters over the Halloween weekend.
