LGBTQ Pride Day at Farmers Market

Thank you to everyone who came out to support the Farmers Market last Saturday! Opening day was a wonderful success and the Village and Farmers Market Committee is looking forward to another exciting day at the market tomorrow.

The Farmers Market area will be bustling this week, as both the Farmers Market and the Wooden Bat Tournament will be in full swing this Saturday! For this week only, the market will be shifted further north on Park Avenue, eliminating all parking on the north end.

This week at the market, we are hosting a Pride Celebration! Special activities will include:

  • Safety-pin Pride flag craft & button maker craft presented by the Deerfield PFLAG Chapter
  • Rainbow Pride flag pinwheel giveaway presented by the Community Relations Commission
  • Rainbow bracelets & Pride flag coloring page activity presented by the Farmers Market Committee
  • Live music by Ambiente from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

For a full list of events and vendors, visit the Farmers Market website.
