Join the Deerfield Farmers Market on Saturday, August 10 for a very special event – it’s their 25th Anniversary Celebration, a morning filled with food, fun and free events for the entire family!

In honor of the anniversary, they will be hosting Grillfest all morning with free grilled corn for everyone. Also, kids will have a chance to make water bottle wind spirals starting at 9 a.m., while supplies last. The musical guest will be Adam Greenberg. 

At 9:30 a.m., the Market will be honoring its founders and inviting everyone to help them celebrate with birthday cake. It’s a party you won’t want to miss!

The Market is open from 7 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and is located at the northwest corner of Deerfield Road and Robert York Avenue.

Your tree is guaranteed for one year and will be planted for you in the fall by the Public Works Department. Trees will be planted in the parkway only and cannot be planted on private property - this program is for residential properties only. Watch your tree next summer and if you notice any problems, contact the Public Works Department at 847.317.7245.

The application for the program is available online or in person. After making your
tree selection, fill out our Tree Order Form and return it to us with a check in the proper amount. The deadline for ordering trees is August 30.

Did you know that you may have an illegal sump pump connection in your home? The Residential Sump Pump Disconnection Program has been implemented to reduce costly and unnecessary sanitary sewer overflows and backups.

For a limited time only, the Village is offering a 20% rebate to homeowners who eliminate illegal sump pump connections. If you have an illegal sump pump connection, please consider taking advantage of this limited-time offering while it lasts.

In order to receive a rebate, visit or call the Community Development Department to get a permit and schedule the work and an inspection. When the work is complete, you must submit to the Village a Certificate of Compliance completed by a licensed plumber and a paid invoice.
