Join us for Public Works Open House - Saturday, May 18

In honor of Public Works Week, join our Public Works Department and the Park District on Saturday, May 18 for a kid- and adult-friendly Open House at the Village's Public Works Facility (465 Elm St.) from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

This event is free for all ages and will feature:

• Tours of the Public Works facilities
• Hands-on activities like making "seed bombs," hand print painting on a snow plow, coloring and more
• Educational exhibits by the Village of Deerfield, the Deerfield Park District, Advanced Tree Care, Clarke Mosquito and ComEd
• Vehicles and equipment
• Fun and free giveaways
• Cotton candy, popcorn and water
• Drawings (Enter to win a Bald Cypress tree planted by us - Deerfield residents only)
