In celebration of Arbor Day today, the Village’s Sustainability Commission partnered with the Deerfield High School Earthworks Club to plant a tree along Waukegan Road.

The Village encourages all residents to plant a tree on Arbor Day and to support efforts to protect our trees and woodlands.

Join District 9 Wildlife Biologist Stephanie Fitzsimons, from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, for a free presentation on coyotes in the Deerfield area followed by a question and answer period.

The presentation is taking place on Tuesday, April 30 at the Deerfield Public Library (920 Waukegan Road) at 7 p.m. in conference room B/C.
