Wind Chill Warnings have been reported for Lake and Cook Counties from approximately 6 p.m. tonight to noon on Thursday. Wind chills as low as -50 and -55 are expected and can quickly cause frostbite and hypothermia. Warming Shelters
In the event of a power outage, Village Hall and the Deerfield Police Department lobby (850 Waukegan Road) are available as warming shelters during business hours. After hours, the Police Department is available with limited services, but further warming shelter locations will be made available to those in need.
