Update: ComEd Power Outages Caused by Winter Storm

ComEd

Approximately 700 homes in Deerfield remain without power. ComEd crews will be continuing repair efforts into tomorrow. A restoration time is still unavailable.

If you or someone you know is without heat due to a power outage or other circumstances, the Deerfield Police Department (850 Waukegan Road) is a designated warming shelter and is open 24/7. Be sure to check on your neighbors and the elderly.

Village staff will remain in contact with ComEd until restoration is complete.
ComEd asks residents to continue reporting outages online, with the mobile app or via phone at 800.334.7661. No other information is available at this time, but we will share new update once information is received.

Reminder: Waste Management Refuse Collection Delay

Waste Management

Due to extreme weather conditions, Waste Management refuse collection (garbage, recycling and yard waste) will be delayed by one day for residential and commercial pickup.

Those with Tuesday collection will have pickup on Wednesday, and those with Wednesday collection will have pickup on Thursday.

Please contact Waste Management at 800.796.9696 with any questions or concerns.

Snow Storm Cleanup Operations

Snow Plowing

Snow storm cleanup operations will continue early tomorrow morning and through tomorrow. This includes sidewalk snow removal, commuter parking lots and sight lines (e.g., corners).

We ask all residents to help in the effort and not clear their driveways by returning snow to the street. Our objective is to maintain a safe and snow-free road system.
