ComEd has informed us that over 1,000 homes in Deerfield are still without power as a result of a severe winter storm. Crews are working in the area and will be continuing repair efforts into tomorrow. A restoration time is still unavailable.
ComEd is assessing the damage and asks residents to continue reporting outages online, with the mobile app or via phone at 800.334.7661. No other information is available at this time, but we will share an update once one is received.
We thank you for your patience and remind everyone to stay safe in this inclement weather. If you or someone you know is without heat due to a power outage or other circumstances, Village Hall is a designated warming shelter on weekdays from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., and the Police Department is open 24/7.
