ComEd Power Outages Caused by Winter Storm

ComEd

Due to a severe winter storm, approximately 1,100 homes throughout all four quadrants of the Village are without power.

ComEd is assessing the damage and asks residents to continue reporting outages online, with the mobile app or via phone at 800.334.7661. No other information is available at this time, but we will share an update once one is received.

We thank you for your patience and remind everyone to stay safe in this inclement weather. If you or someone you know is without heat due to a power outage or other circumstances, Village Hall is a designated warming shelter on weekdays from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., and the Police Department is open 24/7.

Village of Deerfield Snow & Ice Control

Snow Plowing

Prompt removal of snow and ice is important in the Village of Deerfield. Our first priority is to keep all main streets open for emergency vehicles and residential use. Once this has been accomplished, our Street Division then plows and salts residential streets, followed by dead-end streets and cul-de-sacs and finally alleyways.

We ask all residents to help in the effort and not clear their driveways by returning snow to the street. Our objective is to maintain a safe and snow-free road system.

Get more information on the Village's Snow & Ice Control efforts here. Contact Public Works at 847.317.7245 with any questions or concerns.
