Happy Thanksgiving from the Village of Deerfield

Thanksgiving
In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, non-emergency Village offices will be closed on Thursday, November 22 and Friday, November 23. Waste Management refuse collection will proceed as usual.

We'd also like to remind everyone to stay safe this Thanksgiving. Here are a few tips:
  • Never allow yourself, a friend or a family member to drive drunk or "buzzed."
  • Always wear a seat belt and be extra cautious driving at night.
  • Avoid the use of turkey fryers.
  • Stay in the kitchen when you are cooking on the stovetop so you can keep an eye on the food.
  • Keep children away from knives, open flames and hot food and liquids.
Have a happy and safe Thanksgiving holiday!
