Southbound Waukegan Road Closure to Take Place Wednesday, August 15

On Wednesday, August 15, both southbound lanes of Waukegan Road will be closed at the Greenwood Avenue intersection. The closure is approximately .6 miles long and will be from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. for the completion of sewer lining operations for 442 linear feet of sanitary sewer. Southbound/Northbound traffic will be reduced to one lane in either direction in the northbound lanes. Download the detour map here.

Additionally, Greenwood Avenue between Park Avenue and Waukegan Road will be closed to through traffic from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Traffic will be detoured from Greenwood Avenue to Hazel Avenue via Chestnut Avenue. All impacted residents on Greenwood Avenue have been notified.
