ComEd to Perform Routine Tree Trimming

ComEd Tree Trimming

The Village has been advised that ComEd will be performing routine vegetation management in parts of Deerfield within the next three months. If you have concerns or have trees you maintain yourself, please contact ComEd at 800.334.7661. For more information, visit ComEd's website

Vegetation management activities are a key component of ComEd’s maintenance program to ensure system electrical reliability, as vegetation contact with ComEd equipment is a leading cause of outages. ComEd has sent notification to any affected customers and property owners. View the tree trimming map here

Daylight Saving Time - Change Clocks & Batteries

Change Clock
Daylight Saving Time begins at 2 a.m. Sunday, March 11. Remember to change the clocks ahead one hour.

The Village would also like to remind you to change the batteries in your smoke alarms when you change your clocks this weekend. Smoke alarms provide critical early warning of a fire. Remember to test your smoke alarms monthly and replace them after 10 years or if you do not know the age of your smoke alarms.
