LRS Collection Day Change

Starting next week, residents whose LRS service is currently on Mondays will have their waste, recycling and compost collected on Wednesdays instead.

If your regular pickup day is Monday, please begin placing your carts out for collection on Wednesday starting April 8. This new schedule will continue going forward.

Please help spread the word to neighbors so everyone affected is aware of the change.

Street Rehabilitation Project Open House

Earlier this week, the Village hosted residents to learn more about the 2026 Street Rehabilitation Project at an informational public meeting.

The project includes a mix of road reconstruction, resurfacing, curb work and spot sidewalk repairs in several areas, including Berkley, Stratford, Broadmoor Place, Somerset, Oakley, Rosewood, Earls Court, Sprucewood and various other locations for sidewalk repairs and pavement patching.

Residents who were unable to attend the meeting can watch it online or contact the Engineering Division at 847.317.7248. Residents can also sign up for project updates on the project blog.

Throughout District 109's referendum process, community members clearly shared their perspective about District 109: their past experiences and their hopes for the future. The District wants to continue the conversation to help build a refreshed brand. A brand is more than a logo; it is a reflection of the community's experience with and expectations for the schools.
