Winter Celebration Tonight at Village Hall

Join us tonight for Deerfield's Winter Celebration from 5 to 8 p.m. at Village Hall to kick off the holiday season! We’ll have warm treats to enjoy as you watch the live ice sculpture demonstrations and take a hay ride around downtown to see the lights. Come inside Village Hall for live performances from local musicians and the Deerfield High School Choraliers.

The celebration continues on Saturday, December 7, with the Winter Market, taking place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Patty Turner Center, 375 Elm Street. Browse a variety of craft and retail vendors, get into the holiday spirit with live music, enjoy food and activities for kids, and visit nonprofit booths. Highlights include a balloon artist, giant outdoor snow globe, Santa and a Polar Express train ride. Visit the Winter Market website for a full list of vendors.

Visit the Winter Market This Saturday at the Patty Turner Center

Get out your holiday shopping list and head to Deerfield Winter Market this Saturday at the Patty Turner Center from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.! You’ll find something for everyone with our diverse selection of retail and craft vendors, non-profit organizations, food vendors and holiday fun. Bring your kids to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, take a ride on the Polar Express train and do holiday crafts and games.

Final Week of Bagged Yard Waste Collection

The week of December 9 is the final week for bagged yard waste collection by LRS. After that, leaves and other yard waste can be placed in the compost container for collection on you normal pickup day.

Police Department Toy Drive

This holiday season, come together to brighten the lives of children at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital and Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). The Deerfield Police Department is once again hosting a toy drive to bring joy and comfort to these brave kids, and it needs your help!
