Switch to Solar Made Easy

Lake and Cook Counties are partnering with the Midwest Renewable Energy Association (MREA) and the Citizens Utility Board (CUB) to co-sponsor Solar Switch Chicagoland. This group-purchasing program offers a more affordable way to install rooftop solar panels and optional battery storage. By coming together as a group, residents can secure a discounted price on rooftop solar installation for their home or small business.

Senior/Disabled Taxi Subsidy Program

The Village’s Taxi Subsidy Program is open to Deerfield residents aged 65 and older and/or to those with documented disabilities. Registered participants are provided with up to 50 one-way coupons each month. Presenting a coupon will take $5 off of the metered fare. Trips to/from the airport are no longer covered by the Taxi Subsidy Program. Check out our FAQs for more information.

Deerfield Parent Network, in partnership with Districts 113, 109 and 112, is pleased to announce Devorah Heitner’s presentation, “Growing Up In Public” on February 6 at 7 p.m. at Highland Park High School. Devorah Heitner, Ph.D., helps empower parents with strategies to help their kids navigate growing up in a world where nearly every moment of their lives can be shared and compared. Heitner shows parents how to help teens navigate boundaries, identity, privacy, and reputation in their digital world. This is a can't miss presentation!
