Guitarist/singer Trini Lopez overcame all odds in the 1960s to become a music legend, and one of the first Latino rock stars. View the documentary, followed by a discussion with co-producer Gary Gand and Brett Schwartz, head of DHS Film & TV department. The event is Thursday, September 28, 6:00 p.m. Click to register. Historical Society's 43 Annual Fall Festival

The Deerfield Area Historical Society’s 43rd Annual Fall Festival will be held Sunday, October 1, from noon to 4 p.m. at the Deerfield Historic Village at the southwest corner of Deerfield and Kipling Roads. The fun-filled event features food, music, historic building tours and activities for kids.
