Chabad of Deerfield Menorah Lighting

Mayor Shapiro will join Chabad of Deerfield this Sunday at 4 p.m. for a menorah lighting ceremony at the plaza between Starbucks and Bobby’s. The event is organized by Rabbi Chaim Schanowitz of Chabad of Deerfield and all are welcome to attend.

Holiday Closures and LRS Delays

Non-emergency Village offices will be closed on Monday, December 26, and Monday, January 2, in observance of the Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays. Lakeshore Recycling collection will be delayed by one day the week after Christmas and New Year’s Day.

Lakeshore Recycling will pick up trees and other organic holiday decorations on the regular collection day between January 3 and January 26 at no charge. All bags, metal and other decorations must be removed.
