New LRS Pricing Starts April 2022

Lakeshore Recycling Services reported to the Village this week that there will be a 3.5% price increase this year, per the contract.

The new rates will take effect in April 2022. The new price of a yard waste sticker will be $3.00, although organic waste placed in the compost bin will continue to be collected free of charge.

Spring Forward This Sunday, March 13

Daylight Saving Time will begin at 2 a.m. this Sunday, March 13. Remember to set your clocks forward one hour on Saturday night. This is a great time to check your smoke and carbon monoxide alarm batteries.

St. Patrick's Day DUI Enforcement Campaign

The Deerfield Police Department will be conducting extra DUI enforcement for St. Patrick’s Day. The extra DUI enforcement will occur from March 11 to March 18. Remember to designate before you celebrate!
