Deerfield, we did it! Region 9, our region, entered Tier 1 mitigations today. We now have options to dine in person and gather because we took Covid-19 seriously and followed the public health guidelines. You can learn more about Tier 1 by clicking here.
 
None of us want to move backwards, so please continue to be diligent in making smart decisions for you and your family and following the 3Ws. Wash your hands. Watch your distance. Wear a mask.
 
If you have not yet registered with the Lake County AllVax Portal to sign up to get vaccinated, please take a moment to do so now by clicking here. Yesterday, Cook County launched a vaccine registration website that residents can join by clicking here. The State has launched a vaccine location map that shows local pharmacies and other health providers that are also vaccinating the public outside of the County programs in place. I urge residents to check out the map frequently as new locations will be announced shortly. You can find it by clicking here.
 
We all want to get back to some semblance of normal, pre-pandemic life, so now is not the time to let our guard down. Please remain vigilant and smart for your health and the health of our community.
