Illinois Regions Can Begin to See Lighter Mitigations

Today, Gov. Pritzker announded that certain regions in the downstate area could move to Tier 2 mitigations. Regions 9 and 10, where Deerfield is located, could see reduced mitigations in the coming days if metrics involving positive test percentages, available hospital beds and reductions in hospitalizations are met. Click here to learn more about the various tiers and what they mean to you.

Tree Trimming Program Starts Thursday

The parkway tree trimming program is scheduled to begin on Thursday, January 21. The Village’s contractor, Advanced Tree Care, will complete the work in two weeks, weather depending. The remaining portion of the southwest quadrant, south of Hackberry Road, between Wilmot Road and Pfingsten Road, will be trimmed. If you have question about the program, call 847.317.7245.
