Deerfield Winter Celebration Holiday BINGO Contest

The Village of Deerfield has partnered with the DBR Chamber of Commerce on a Winter Celebration BINGO Contest to support local businesses. Save your receipts when shopping to cross off spots on your BINGO card. You can download a BINGO card by clicking here or on the picture below. Once you get five in a row, e-mail your card and receipts to info@drbchamber.com to be entered in a drawing to win one of four $150 gift cards to the Deerfield business of your choice.

Virtual Winter Celebration

The Deerfield Winter Celebration is traditionally held at Village Hall on the First Friday in December. This year's event was cancelled due to COVID-19. For those looking for some virtual holiday cheer, the Village and DBR Chamber of Commerce have compiled a list of activities and charity drives throughout the season. You can find the list here. April 2021 Consolidated Election Filing Period Information

Although Village Hall is closed to the public, it will be open only for those looking to file petitions for the April 2021 Consolidated Election.

The Consolidated Election Filing Period is from Monday, December 14, 2020, at 8 a.m. through Monday, December 21, 2020, at 5 p.m. at Village Hall. No petitioner packets will be accepted before or after the stated dates and times. Village Hall is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays. Please note that Village Hall is closed from noon to 1 p.m. Village Hall will stay open until 5 p.m. on December 21, as required by law.

The Village cannot provide any legal advice or election advice for any petitioners. Candidate packets are provided as a courtesy and no information in this notice should be seen as legal advice. If there are any questions, a petitioner may contact the Illinois State Board of Elections or the Lake County Clerk’s Office.

In case of any simultaneous filers for the April 2021 Consolidated Election, a lottery will be held on December 22, 2020, at 10 a.m. in the Council Chambers at Deerfield Village Hall, 850 Waukegan Road. If required, the lottery will follow the procedures set forth in the Illinois Administrative Procedures Act, Section 201.40 Simultaneous Filing for the Same Office.
