A Message from Mayor Rosenthal
Friends and neighbors,
Many of us will be observing Passover and Easter differently than usual with Zoom Seders and livestream services. Thank you for doing so for the safety of the community. I hope you are able to connect with loved ones virtually over the holidays as we continue to stay home to save lives.
I want to thank the majority of our residents who are following the rules of the stay at home order. Our Police Department is still breaking up gatherings and I encourage you to call the non-emergency number at 847-945-8636 to report violations. Our Police can issue tickets if needed.
As we all continue to adjust to all of the changes over the past weeks, let’s remember to be courteous to one another and all essential employees. Please do not leave used masks, gloves or disinfecting wipes in grocery carts. Remember to keep your dogs leashed and to pick-up after them. For the health and safety of the Waste Management employees, large items and items not in the bins will not be collected going forward.
We’re in this together, and we’ll get out of this together. Please continue to stay home to save lives as we flatten the curve.
Stay safe,
Harriet
