Happy New Year

Non-Emergency Village Offices Closed for New Year's Day - Wednesday, January 1

Village Hall

In observance of New Year's Day, non-emergency Village offices will be closed on Wednesday, January 1. Regular hours will resume the following Thursday.

The Village of Deerfield wishes you a happy new year and prosperous 2020!

New Year's Eve Police Enforcement

The Deerfield Police Department is conducting additional traffic safety and sobriety patrols through January 2.

The primary function of these patrols will be to arrest impaired drivers and heighten public awareness of the dangers of driving while under the influence of an intoxicating substance. If your celebration involves festive drinks, make sure you designate a sober driver and remember, "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over."

Waste Management Collection Delay & Tree Pickup

Waste Management

Waste Management refuse collection (garbage and recycling) will be delayed by one day this week for the collection on Wednesday, January 1.

Wednesday collection (south of Deerfield Road) will be delayed to Thursday, January 2, due to the New Year's holiday.

As a reminder, do not leave your garbage and recycling toters at the curb during unsanctioned times or on sidewalks.

Holiday Tree Collection

Waste Management will pick up trees and other organic holiday decorations during the first two regular collections in January (January 7-8 and January 14-15). All bags, metal and other decorations must be removed.
