Beginning on Thursday, July 14, and continuing through the week, pavement removal and subbase preparation will begin within the project limits. During this operation, the contractor will be removing the entire roadway's pavement and preparing the subbase for the upcoming paving operation that is planned for next week. This pavement removal operation will begin at the north end of Price Lane, proceeding south. Access impacts will become realized to individual properties as the operation moves south.
Due to the dead-end and limited pavement area, pavement removal operations will impact daily vehicular access to Price Lane between 7am and 4pm. Please note that during this work, the contractor will quickly re-instate access for emergency vehicles should they need access.
During pavement removal operations, residents will be denied daytime vehicular access to Price Lane & to residential driveways from 7am – 4pm. For residents requiring use of their vehicles during the daytime, we ask that vehicles be relocated to Osterman Avenue.
Once daytime operations are completed, the contractor will install stone access ramps that will allow access to all driveways daily. These ramps will remain in place until the following week’s paving operations.
During pavement removal operations, no parking is permitted on Price Lane, and along the south side of Osterman Ave. During this time, please avoid the construction operations with your vehicle when possible and/or utilize alternate routes. The contractor intends to pave the first lift of asphalt the following week. Additional notification will be provided
