Longfellow, Hermitage, Byron, Whittier and Kipling:   Beginning Monday afternoon (7/11) and continuing on Tuesday (7/12) removal/grinding will take place in the Poets Corner subdivision. During this operation, the contractor will be removing/grinding the top 2” (inches) of roadway pavement. This work will result in the closure of Longfellow at Waukegan Road between the hours of 10am to 1pm on Tuesday.  During this closure, please use Kipling as an alternate access to the subdivision. Pavement grinding and removal operations will include heavy truck traffic and may result in impacts to driveways while the pavement is being removed directly in front of a driveway. However, once grinding/removal is completed, residents will have complete access to their driveways. The contractor will return the following week to pave the first lift of asphalt. Additional notice will be provided prior to paving.

Kind Richards Court:  The contractor will be performing roadway repairs on the west side of King Richards Court beginning on Monday, July 11, 2022. Concrete placement will result in lane closures at these locations. These lane closures will not be removed until the new concrete patches have cured and gained enough strength for vehicular traffic (4-7 Days after installation). Impacted residents have been provided physical notifications providing additional information.

Montgomery Rd:  Beginning on Monday, July 11, 2022 at 7:30a.m., pavement removal/grinding will begin on Montgomery Road. During this operation, the contractor will be removing/grinding the top 2” (inches) of roadway pavement.

Rosewood Ave:    All residents of Rosewood Ave will have access restored to their driveways on Monday, July 11 at the end of the day. Also, beginning on Tuesday, July 12, and continuing through the week, pavement removal and subbase preparation will begin within the project limits. During this operation, the contractor will be removing the entire roadway pavement. Pavement removal operations will include heavy truck traffic and will result in impacts to driveway access while the pavement is being removed directly in front of a driveway. During pavement removal operations, residents will be (at times) denied access to their driveways during daytime hours. However, once pavement removal is completed, the contractor will install stone access ramps that will allow access to all driveways daily. These ramps will remain in place until the following week’s paving operations. Impacted residents have been provided physical notifications providing additional information.

Price Lane:    The contractor will begin placing curbs and sidewalk along the eastern portion of Price Lane beginning Monday, July 11 at 7:30 am. Impacted residents have been provided physical notifications providing additional information.
