Construction Update for Week of June 27, 2022

Charing Cross:  Restoration of parkway is put on hold, awaiting cooler temperatures for sod. The final lift of asphalt will be placed in 2-4 weeks.

Gordon Terrace & Plum Tree:    Restoration of parkway is put on hold, awaiting cooler temperatures for sod.  The final lift of asphalt will be placed in 2-4 weeks.

Longfellow, Hermitage, Byron, Whittier and Kipling:   The final phase of concrete repairs will continue this week.  Removals and prep work for any remaining curb and sidewalk will begin on Monday, June 27 with the final pour planned for Wednesday, June 29, 2022.  Next week, pavement removal (grinding) will take place. We are waiting to grind pavement until after the 4th of July weekend. As Longfellow will be used as a detour route during the 4th of July parade, which will take place on a portion of Deerfield Road.

Kind Richards Court:  Concrete pavement patching will take place next week. Additional notification will proceed this activity. 

Montgomery Rd:  Curb and sidewalk removal has been completed.  Pavement removal (grinding) is planned for late next week. Additional notification will proceed this activity.

Rosewood Ave:    Water mainline installation has been completed and the new water main has achieved passing test results. Underground operations will continue on Monday and Tuesday as the contractor will complete connecting individual residential homes to the new mainline. When connecting individual homes to the new water main, residents will not have water for a short time (20- 30 minutes). Impacted residents have been, or will be notified using "water department doorhangers".

Price Lane:    Curb removal is planned to begin on Tuesday, June 28. With phase 1 of concrete curb installation planned for this Thursday, June 30. Additional notification will be provided to residents which will provide more information.
