The below summary is a forecast of construction operations planned for this week.

Ambleside, Dimmeydale & Windcrest
Water main installation was completed last week and has passed appropriate testing requirements. Underground repairs to storm sewer laterals and drainage structures will continue this week and will be completed mid-week. Tree removal and tree preservation operations including root pruning and crown pruning will begin on Tuesday May 25. 

Mid-week, the underground crew will leave for 2 days to work on Elder Lane and will then return to complete water service connections towards the end of this week and into next week.  Curb and sidewalk removal is anticipated to being the week of June 7th. Additional notice will precede.

This construction project will result in the damage to existing street light wires that will result in impacts to street lighting. These wires will be replaced towards the end of the project and all lighting will be restored at that time. 


Elder Lane
(Waukegan to east Limits)
Underground repairs will begin this week. Some of this work will result in water system impacts and all impacted properties will be notified prior to the work taking place. Access to Elder Lane will remain available but residents should expect access delays and the potential need to relocate vehicles during daytime operations. Once this underground work is completed, curb removal and replacement is planned to take place the week of June 7th. Additional notice will precede.

Greenwood (Waukegan to east Limits)
The contractor has indicated that crews will begin underground work on Greenwood the week of June 1st (after the Memorial Day weekend). Greenwood will remain open however access in and out of the area may be impacted or delayed.
