Fight the Bite: Reduce Mosquitoes

Got a mosquito bite recently? You’re not alone. Recent rain events have resulted in lots of standing water – the perfect breeding area for mosquitoes.

Reminder: Applications Open for 50/50 Parkway Tree Program

The Village will pay half the cost to plant a tree in your parkway and guarantee it for one year. Your tree will be balled in burlap, guaranteed for one year, and planted by the Public Works Department. Trees will be planted in the fall. Watch your tree next summer and, if you notice any problems, call us so we can have the tree examined before the guarantee expires. This program is for residential properties only.
