Register Your Backflow Prevention Device

Do you want to help keep the Village’s water system safe and secure? Please take the survey linked here to register your backflow prevention device if it isn’t registered already. Residents will also receive a copy of this survey as part of their water bill.

The survey contains questions regarding the number of backflow prevention devices in residential properties. The most common backflow prevention device is called a Reduced Pressure Zone (RPZ) device and is required to be installed on lawn sprinkler systems. If you home does not contain a Backflow Prevention Device, or your device is already registered with Backflow Solutions Inc., you do not need to complete the survey.

For more information please call the Public Works Department at 847.317.7245 or visit the Village’s Backflow Prevention FAQ Page here.
