Update for Week of 6/10: Work Continues on Warrington, Cranshire, Montgomery plus Meadow Lane

Posted on June 7, 2019 at 4:27 PM by Tyler Dickinson

Warrington Road Storm Sewer
The contractor continued installation of the large diameter storm sewer this week and will continue next week. Beginning Wednesday, after the Walden School is out for the summer, the contractor will begin work between Essex Ct and Warwick Rd which will require a closure of this section of road.  Part of this work will require the relocation of water main along Warrington Rd which will result in a water impact to nearby residents. All impacted residents will be notified prior to this work taking place. Once this work is completed to Warwick, the contractor will begin concrete removals and replacements between Warwick and Woodvale.

Castlewood, Cranshire, Montgomery, Chatham, Pear Tree & Village Green:
This week, the contractor completed the remainder of the new curb installation. All impacted driveways will be reinstated by the end of the day Friday and will be maintained until the contractor is ready to install the new sidewalk. The remaining sidewalk is anticipated to be installed next week. Residents whose driveways will be impacted will receive additional notification next week once a date has been determined by the contractor. Currently, it is anticipated that pavement removal will begin in the next 1-2 weeks with paving to follow the week of June 17.

Meadow Lane
The contractor was not able to begin curb removals on the south side of the road as planned this week. Once a date has been established by the contractor, notices will be hand delivered to the residents on Meadow Lane. Updates will also be communicated via the message board near Stratford Rd.

Please be advised that the information communicated here is a forecast of proposed operations which may change due to contractor availability and/or weather conditions.
