Paving is planned for both Elmwood and Crabtree on Monday which will result in complete road closures for both locations (weather permitting).

3Road-Closure-ELMWOOD-CRABTREE-2018

Due to  both Elmwood and Crabtree both being dead end streets, these roads will need to be completely closed to traffic during this work.

On Monday, full-width paving operations will result in the complete closure of Elmwood Ave. beginning around 7 a.m. and should be completed by noon.

Also on Monday, full-width paving operations will result in the complete closure of Crabtree Ave. beginning around 7 a.m. and should be completed by 4 p.m.

During paving operations, please note that homeowners will have access to their property at all times via the parkway area. However, due to limited space, access to driveways will be denied during paving operations. Please allow ample time for relocation of vehicles and temporary delays that may occur. Though driveway access may be denied during paving operations, access will be re-established at the end of paving operations.

Overnight parking on adjacent streets will be permitted during this phase of construction. During the day, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., please park your vehicle(s) away from the construction area to allow the contractor complete access to the job site. Furthermore, parking will be permitted overnight at the Woodland Park parking lot, which is accessible via Wilmot Road. Both the Park District and Police Department have been notified. Please be sure that vehicles possess Village Stickers and are parked appropriately on Village streets, avoiding fire hydrants.

Emergency response services will always be granted access in emergency situations.
All proposed work scheduled for Monday is weather permitting.
