SEE BELOW FOR CONSTRUCTION UPDATES FOR LOCATIONS CURRENTLY UNDER CONSTRUCTION.
*PLEASE NOTE THIS SCHEDULE IS WEATHER AND CONTRACTOR DEPENDENT *
Central Ave and Kenmore Ave
The contractor will return to place the final lift of asphalt this Thursday.
As part of this work, fresh oil will be placed on the street previous to paving. This oil allows for a better bond of the new pavement to the existing roadway and lengthens the service life of the new pavement. Residents are advised to drive slowly during this time to prevent oil from splashing on their vehicles. The contractor will install FRESH OIL signs to notify motorists.
Paving operations often include heavy truck traffic and may present access delays to residential driveways and to through traffic. During this time and if possible, please avoid the construction operations and utilize alternate routes. All driveways and roadways will be accessible at the completion of the work day.
Bristol Estates & Bristol Drive
The contractor will return to place the final lift of asphalt beginning this Friday, May 25th. They will begin by paving intersections first, then return to pave the main line on Tuesday May 29.
The contractor is currently removing curbs in preparation to pour concrete curbs on Wednesday May 23rd. Approximately 1/3 of residents will experience driveway access impacts. Therefore, the Village is allowing the contractor to remove and replace curbs on both sides of the street at the same time. Residents at this location will receive a physical notification containing additional details today. Pavement removal will begin next week.
Residents should also note that pavement removal operations will begin next week.
Osterman Ave & Somerset Ave
Pavement removal on-hold, pending the completion of pavement removal operations at the Oxford location.
