Brierhill Road Project Construction Update – 6/09/2017

A COUPLE REMINDERS

  • PLEASE REMIND ALL LANDSCAPERS AND CONTRACTORS TO COME OUTSIDE OF CONSTRUCTION HOURS AS PREVIOUSLY DISCUSSED.
  • DO NOT REMOVE UTILITY FLAGS FROM YOUR FRONT YARD. THESE ARE PLACED TO HELP PROTECT THE UTILITIES AND THE WORKERS WORKING AROUND THEM. PLEASE PASS THIS ALONG TO YOUR LANDSCAPERS.

LAST WEEK

The contractor began the pavement removals and excavation early this week on the south end of Brierhill Rd. As planned, the contractor had to then pause the pavement removal work in the middle of the week to complete some of the remaining underground work.

SCHEDULE

Next week, the contractor will resume pavement removal and excavation. This will require the contractor to remove the top 12” – 15” of the existing road and earth. This work will cut off driveway access the day the pavement is removed, in front of a driveway. All driveway impacts during pavement removal are intended to only be during construction hours (7:30am - ~5pm) and should only be for one day. Residents will be notified the day before their driveway will be impacted via a hand delivered notice.

Residents are encouraged to park on nearby side streets (if possible) or in their unimpacted neighbor’s driveways should they need to leave throughout the day. The contractor will also be installing stone parking areas along Brierhill Rd for residents to use during this time. We do ask that residents who park along Brierhill Rd be sure to park far enough away from the construction operation as to not interfere with the removal operation.

Please be advised that the information communicated here is a forecast of proposed operations, which may change due to contractor availability and/or weather conditions.
