The below update provides a forecast of construction operations planned for the week of April 27, 2020. Please note that this forecast is subject to change due to weather.

PROJECT LOCATIONS LISTED IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER

Dartmouth Ave
(Wilmot Rd. To Pine St.) Including Pembroke and Circle Courts
The contractor anticipates completing the concrete curb and sidewalk removals on the north side of Dartmouth this week. When removing the sections of concrete within the driveway, the contractor will maintain access to driveways using stone ramps until the contractor is ready to pour the new curbs and sidewalk. These replacements will include spot repairs to Pembroke and Circle Courts. The contractor anticipates pouring these locations early next week. Additional notices will be distributed to those whose driveways will be impacted.

Knollwood Rd
(Margate to Kingston)
Last week, the contractor was able to complete the remaining concrete work along Knollwood Road.

This week, the contractor anticipates removing the top layer of the asphalt in preparation for sub-base preparation. During this time, there will be a rough grooved surface until the contractor is ready to pave the first layer of asphalt.

Knollwood Rd
(Warwick to Margate)
Last week, the contractor continued working to remove and replace the remaining concrete work along this block.

This week, the contractor anticipates beginning full depth pavement removals by grinding out the existing pavement. This work results in heavy truck traffic which may cause delays for those driving on Knollwood Rd. The Village encourages motorists to utilize adjacent roadways during these phases of work.

Margate Terrace and Westgate Road
(Warrington to Kenton)
Last week, the contractor was able to complete the remaining concrete work along these streets.

This week, the contractor anticipates removing the top layer of the asphalt. During this time, there will be a rough grooved surface until the contractor is ready to pave the first layer of asphalt.
