Updated Paving Schedule - Woodland Subdiv., Berkeley, Warrington, and Margate

Posted on November 7, 2019 at 6:04 PM by Tyler Dickinson

Berkeley Court:  ACTIVE 95% complete
The remaining surface paving is planned for FRIDAY of this week.

Warrington Rd.:  ACTIVE 95% complete
On SATURDAY, the contractor will place reflective crack-control fabric in the morning which will require the detour of traffic while the material is being placed. Once the fabric has been applied, the paving contractor will begin paving Warrington Rd. from Deerfield Rd. to Woodvale Ave. Only local traffic will be permitted on Warrington Rd. during this work and all other traffic should select an alternative route. On MONDAY, the contractor will complete the remaining sections of Warrington Rd. as well as Margate Terrace.

Woodland Subdivision: Hawthorne Pl., Oakwood Pl., Woodbine Ct., & Woodland Dr. ACTIVE 85% complete
On FRIDAY, the contractor will pave the first layer of asphalt throughout the subdivision. Residents are encouraged to utilize adjacent roadways and alternative routes if possible during this work. On SATURDAY, the contractor will perform structure adjustments and patching in preparation of final paving which is set to take place early next week.

Please be aware that signs stating “Fresh Oil” may be observed throughout the time period when asphalt paving will occur. The use of fresh oil helps different layers of asphalt to adhere to one another providing a longer lasting final product. Residents should be mindful of driving through fresh oil. If a detour is not in place and motorists must drive through fresh oil, please drive slowly. Driving at higher speeds through fresh oil may cause the material to adhere to the undercarriage and/or fenders of the car, which can be difficult and costly to remove.
