Work Completed Last Week:
The landscaping contractor installed topsoil and sod along Greenwood Ave., east of Chestnut St. The traffic signal contractor installed and relocated the new signal post at the NW corner of Greenwood Ave. and Waukegan Rd. Curbs and sidewalk removal operations began on the south side of Greenwood Ave., west of Chestnut St.
Anticipated Schedule for upcoming weeks:
New concrete sidewalk and curbs will be installed along the south side of Greenwood Ave., west of Chestnut St. Once the south side has been completed and the sidewalk is open to pedestrian traffic, the contractor will begin on the north side concrete replacement.
Percentage Complete: 58%
At times, vehicles will not be able to pass the contractor’s work operations which may result in delays to local traffic. Caution should be practiced through the construction work zone and residents must be alert for workers and construction equipment.
